MSPmentor 501 list: NetGain Technologies ranks 56th in the world for managed IT services

Lexington, Ky. (May 24, 2016) — NetGain Technologies climbed seven spots in 2016 to rank 56th in the world as a managed IT services provider (MSP). Penton Technology released its ninth-annual MSPmentor 501 Global Edition rankings on May 19. The list identifies the world’s most progressive 501 managed service providers in 2016. NetGain Technologies ranked 63rd on the 2015 list.

NetGain Technologies partner Brendan Jacobson said, “In eight consecutive years of being ranked a worldwide top 100 managed IT services provider, this 2016 ranking is our best yet. MSPmentor’s list really validates our reputation as a regional leader of outsourced IT services for midsize businesses.”

MSPmentor gathered information for its rankings in an annual survey conducted between February 26 and April 22. To compare MSPs and determine rankings, the industry organization “assesses company strength based on revenue contributions from key go-to-market activities.” MSPmentor bases its rankings on revenue and user statistics through 2015 year-end. (About the methodology)

  • Nearly a quarter (24%) of MSPs surveyed have evolved to the per-user fee model employed by NetGain Technologies. A similar percentage (23%) use a per-device pricing scheme; and 42$ rely on a hybrid user/device model.

“On behalf of Penton and MSPmentor, I would like to congratulate NetGain Technologies for its recognition as an MSP 501 honoree,” said Aldrin Brown, MSPmentor’s editor-in-chief. “The managed service provider market is evolving at a rapid pace and the companies showcased on the 2016 MSP 501 list represent the most agile, flexible, and innovative organizations in the industry.”
