Taylor’s role with NetGain is to capitalize on the organization’s established support infrastructure by increasing sales of its managed services offerings. The managed I.T. services provider (MSP) regularly ranks in the top 100 B-to-B providers of I.T. services worldwide.

I’m joining a mature organization that has invested heavily in the back-end of I.T. services delivery for more than a decade,” Taylor said. “Our business analysts work closely with CEOs and presidents of client companies. Our SOC 2, Type II-certified network operations center is optimized to support thousands of growth-oriented companies, and our field engineers are the best in the industry. That puts my team in a wonderful position to promote an established service, in an SMB market that is demanding I.T. support for business growth.

In addition to leading staff in the Lexington branch, Taylor will oversee sales teams in the organization’s offices in St. Louis; Cincinnati; Louisville, Ky.; Little Rock, Ark.; and Chattanooga, Tenn.

Nigel’s success at instituting processes for developing sales is the reason he’s heading our flagship service offerings,” said Brendan Jacobson, president of NetGain Technologies. “His breadth of experience makes him an internationally recognized builder and developer of sales organizations. After a nationwide search for a trailblazer who could help bring Technology OneSource to the next level, we found him. He understands where we are, where we want to be, and he has a plan to help us get there. He’s just a great fit for our team all around.

Taylor and his wife, Robbyn, look forward to their new life at NetGain Technologies. NetGain really stood out as a services leader that knows its target client profile, knows what it’s good at, and delivers great results to its clients,” Taylor said. “What really attracted me to NetGain, though, was how its culture adds to its service level. The leadership team’s innovative mindset and openness to change are unexpected for a 33-year-old company. I truly believe we can go wherever we choose—and that NetGain is succeeding at being the ‘workplace of a lifetime.’

 ABOUT MANAGED I.T. SERVICES

Managed I.T. services is a business practice that has grown in prominence during the past decade. Companies outsource all or part of their information technology burden by contracting an I.T. specialist with vast resources to administer their networks. Managed services generally encompasses both onsite support and remote “help desk” support, 24-by-7 monitoring and maintenance, and a hybrid virtual CIO (vCIO) functionality.
